I had a cardiac catheterization 3 months ago, and recovery went well. (No blockage was found.) The entry site (R leg artery) healed and had no pain within 2 days. Now, 3 months later, I have pain at the site after exercising on my stationary bike. I used the bike for the 1st time since the procedure, and was on it for 75 minutes with no problem. The next day, I had to quit after only 45 minutes due to pain at the entry site. Although it subsided somewhat after I stopped the bike, it is now 3 days later and I still have pain although I have not been exerting that area. The pain feels exactly like it did right after the procedure. There is no visible swelling or discoloration, but the dull pain is constantly there, sometimes more sharp than other times. How could this start 3 months later?
