More info regarding previous question

Yes, just a bit more history after seeing other's more in depth questions. Also in the past, I've had along with the 2 prior nuclear sress tests, ( I DON'T believe it was Lexicon used in the past) I've also had an echocardiogram with last stress test 2 years ago which came out fine. Also bloodwork was good. I am on high blood pressure medicine, although it was jus slightly elevated, I'm also on Simvastatin although my cholesterol is only slightly elevated as well. My biggest problem to me has been GERD, and IBS. ACTUALLY, the 1st "heart related" episode I had, which I was rushed IMMEDIATELY from my MD's office, saying bloodwork enzymes indicated I had JUST had a heart attack or was ABOUT to. I was hospitalized, had blood drawn tjrougjtout the night with a heart cath performed the next morning. EVERYTHING, "clean as a whistle" according to the cardiologist. It was latered blamed on the recalled medication, Zelnorm which I had been on for few years. I also suffer from fybromyalgia. Lately I've been experiencing intense pain from my neck and shoulders, including feet, ankles, legs, knees, and joints. Including between shoulder blades. All exacerbated by over extending myself. I'm also under a huge amount of stress due to a very ill 89 year old Mama 600 miles away, making travel a MUST! In consideration of all my PAST cardiology experience, I'm wondering if my new MD in this state is not taking these into account. As I previously stated, he ONLY told me the reason for the need to be referred to a cardiologist here, "Intermittent" results. He did NOT have a follow up visit with him to go over the detailed report. He simply passed me off to the cardiologist. Obviously, I don't feel a connection with my doctor. He was my new husband's family doctor is the reason I'm his patient. Also, because I know how DIFFICULT it is to find a physician being a chronic patient. I hope this further information helps. Again, WHAT DOES INTERMITTENT MEAN? Only info I can find regards elderly patients with problems in the return of blood supply from their lower extremities. I DON'T THINK this applies to me! Thank you for ANY light shed on this situation!

I would quit Simvastatin for a while - like a couple of months - just to make sure it is not this medication causing the pain. I've had similar problems in the past until I became "statinfree"
