Hi.
I'm the father of a 6 years old son who has had a large VSD repaired at the age of 6 months.
The doctor has detected he has RBBB (Right Bundle Branch Block) and LAH (Left Anterior Hemiblock). He said it was surgically induced and that we should not worry.
However I have read old literature (a 1982 British study) saying these are at higher risk of arrhythmia and late death. Another study (Downing, 1972) said there was no correlation with these risks and others at a 10 years old frame.
What sould I do? How do I find an specialist on this issue? What are the long term prospects?
Thanks in advance!
