I think I have a unqiue understand of the fear, sadness and confusion you are now experiencing, and would like to help in any way I can.
I experienced my first heart attack at 35 years old, with no advance notice that anything was wrong. My family and I have gone through the depression... the feeling of helplessness... the acceptance...and the recovery. I found the best way to deal with things was to find out as much as possible, and the internet resources have been very helpful to that end. I experienced a second heart attack at 40, and this year am celebrating my 51st birthday, so I'm still chugging along!
Let me know if I can provide any assistance to help you through this difficult time.
I would do a general online search, google. As you know, it's not common to have a heart attack at that age. You need a complete review of your risk factors to determine what contributed to the development. Hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking weight, family history, blood clotting disorders. Did you have a cardiac catheterization?
