Hello and hope you are doing well.

Usually people recover from a concussion without any residual effects. Some people may manifest the symptoms longer and the condition is termed as post concussion syndrome. Repeated concussions are known to double the risk. So, please have him evaluated to rule out this condition.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

There should be no confusion on the part of the parent - teen with head injury needs to be evaluated... if not life threatening ER will discharge with advice to see doctor...see article in Scientific American re teen brains and concussions

But I'm confused. If an emergency room diagnosed a stroke, they wouldn't discharge you and say call your Doctor in the morning. Plus how does he know he had several other strokes and who diagnosed them? having so many, you would need a miracle to survive.
