18yr, chest pain, not sure where to post this

I'm 18, and I've been getting this random chest pain, its on my left side but close to the centerish, like just to the right of my boob, and it doesn't last long, like around a minute or so. It started a few weeks ago like maybe a month and It didn't cause me any concern, but now its been happening more frequently and its starting to scare me. Anyone have any idea what might cause this? I'm away in college so going to the dr can't really happen till fall break because I'm 120 miles away from my hometown. Also other random symptoms I've been having is headaches, this last one has been since tuesday but I get them on and off all the time, and I bruise really easily Thanks in advance!

Its is kind of hard to describe, like it feels kind of like a burning/stinging but like dull and achyish, but then occastionally its like a sharp but not constant like a pulsing sharp. It usually just happens randomly, and only on occastion while running. It never really concerned me, but of late its been happening alot more frequently.

I'm actually trying to find a weekend to go home and see my doctor, or see if I can find one around here, but its kind of hard because I dont have a car. I'm going to check and see what on campus health and wellness things they provide.

Thank you

Hi there

I'm no expert but pain that lasts a minute or so doesn't sound really sinister - however how intense is the pain?  Do you feel short of breath at the time?  Do you get it after exerting yourself in sports or walking, etc?  Of course i think that any chest pain in any person at any age should be checked out immediately.

The fact that you are also getting headaches and bruising really easily suggests you need to see a doctor....is there a way to see one whilst at college?
