Uncontrolled Hypertension and heartbeat

Hi , I am a 53 Year old male with the following condition:
Asthma
Had one cardiac stent done in May 2008.

For the last one month my pressure had reached a maximum of 190/111. Despite medication my pressure rises to 180/90 during the course of the day. My Doctors have indicated that they cannot understand what is causing it. The main problem is that I feel very hot, sweaty and dizzy with a heart beat of over 116. I am already on medication, and as stated, the Doctors are taking it as a joke. Kindly advise me what can be done as this is really affecting my daily life. My weight is 65 kg 1,72 cm tall. I am scared of getting a stroke.

Thanks

I would wonder about using blood thinners (even aspirin) when systolic is as high as 190 and might spike higher than that -  for fear of a hemorrhagic stroke or retinal or kidney damage etc

what could be causing both BP and HR to go high? I suppose you'd think of adrenalin. Maybe it's an unususal type of pheochromocytoma, which in its typical form is rare enough.

Are you taking a blood thinner such as Plavix?  This would help to prevent a stroke especially if stroke runs in the family.  How many different blood pressure medicines have you tried?  Sometimes it just takes a matter of trying a few different ones to see which one will work.  If your heart beat is irregular this would increase the risk of stroke.
