Very low blood pressure

I was just in the hospital for gallstones and pancreatitis. My blood pressure was as low as 71/34! And it usually is low- but more like 110/65. Isn't low blood pressure just as concerning and dangerous as high blood pressure?? Should I be concerned? I am always freezing cold, even need a sweater on most summer days! I am overweight and have always thought that meant I shouldnt be cold!

with that blood pressure Im surprised you are awake and able to type on this forum. When I had blood pressure of 66/51   I had to really fight to stay awake but I was talking nonsense half the time (not much diffferent to when I have normal pressure).

Yes, very low BP is just as bad as high.  You may want to see an Endocrinologist for testing, it sounds like you may have a slow thyroid or hypothyroidism.
