pain in my left chest and arm

Iam going through a pain in my left chest and hand for almost a month now, I consulted a general physician and the dr asked to do a ECG check and blood test, on the result my ecg was normal however reported high bp (140\90) and my cholestrol was slightly on the higher side. Iam taking tablets to control my blood pressure level, on the last check I did my BP was 130\80.
I still feel the pain in my left chest, it is sometimes kind of a sharp pain and mild pain, Iam also going through pain on my left hand and sometimes on my neck and jaw. I dont have problem in breating or sweating. Please let me know what could be the reason for the pain.

It hard to say for certain what is the cause of your chest pain. In order to make sure that this pain is not related to your heart, tests such as an EKG, stress test, and echocardiogram may be helpful. Your can discuss other possible causes of your chest discomfort with your physician.
