What is going on with me?

I'm 19 now and last night when I was ready to go to sleep my heartbeat goes really fast and harder to breath. This kept about 30 minutes and I felt anxiety. It never happen before and I felt painful between the top of my left arm and left chest.  Is that a heart attack? What should I do now?

I have go to the hospital and see the doctor.  I've done an ECG and a cardiac enzyme test and all showa fine, I feel better after a few days but heart rate still a little bit high.   Is that a common problem of teenager? What should I do for it?

Hi,

It could be as simple as indigestion or it could be something else. Did you have a lot to eat before bed or have a lot of alcohol? If so this can cause increased heart rate. I would suggest you go to your doctor though especially as you had pain. I doubt it would have been a heart attack, but it would still be worth getting checked out.
Good luck
