We can say that. The level of oxygen is easily tested in the blood, either by a finger sensor which uses 2 wavelengths of light, or a more accurate blood gas which requires a sample of blood. If the oxygen level in the blood is too low, all the major organs will start to be affected, but the heart is one of the last. The first to usually indicate problems is the brain which will start producing hallucinations and memory loss etc, followed by black out. The heart will happily be pumping with no problems during this time. If you could somehow get the oxygen level low enough to starve the heart, it would destroy heart tissue(muscle), not create artery disease.
Thanks.Oxygen supply to blood is by lungs alone. Can we say that inadequate supply of oxygen will not cause anomaly to blood?
Everything in the body is related, we could say that somehow a sore leg can be linked to the brain. CAD is definitely not caused by lung problems.
i looked at your links it doesnt say the lungs cause cad but it says cad can cause problems with your lungs especially if you have the start of heart faluire

The Lungs only perform gas exchange and don't affect the arteries.
i have never heard of the lungs causing cad. itscaused from plaque build up in the artieries which many believed is from high fat intake and high chlorestoral
