Shoulder pain after stent placement

I had a second stent placed about a month ago, I have developed a pain in the left shoulder blade that runs around to the front of my chest and I find it hard to take a deep breath.  I thought it might be a pulled muscle because of golfing or biking, however it is not going away after icing and heat treatments.  Anyone had this problem?  I'm calling my doc if I don't get better soon.

This is an old question so I'm hoping you find your answer. I just had a stent placed 3 months ago and had severe pain in my left shoulder aroind my back by shoulder blade, across my chest, and radiated down my left arm. I won't go into everything- but last week I went to a chiropractor and found out I have rotator cuff injuries as well as two rib bones out of place. She put them back in place and I've started treating the shoulder muscles. I had relief right away and will take a few more adjustments. I had been into the hospital and PT more than 4 times and asked if it could've been from the procedure. They all said no. So if anyone else is reading this I hope it helps someone. I also had a perforated ulcer in aorta likely from the stent placement . Have been layed up with excruciating pain for three months. Just found out that 80% of pain has been from Crestor. So many other reasons we can have pain and hard to sort it out. So I wanted to post it so others can see it.

I would certainly follow up with your doctor.  I haven't heard of a cardiac issue that causes the pain to worsen with breathing.  Take care, Ally
