Firstly... get a second opinion. Your symptoms sound familiar to me as I experienced much the same for months in the 1990's. However my arrhythmia had a pattern, Two beats then a missed one then the same again. Went on for months then reverted to normal without me being conscious of that one day. However I have since had two bouts of rapid AF in the past two years and have been told that it is benign. I am on medication. Finally I know what Sinus Arrhythmia feels like as my 12 year old had a bout and I felt his pulse and took him to hospital. They said it was 'normal'. You could have a benign AF or your heart is doing premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) These are extra, abnormal heartbeats that begin in one of your heart's two lower pumping chambers (ventricles). These extra beats disrupt your regular heart rhythm, sometimes causing you to feel a flip-flop or skipped beat in your chest. Premature ventricular contractions are very common — they occur in most people at some point. Thousands have Atrial Fibrillation of various severity and live with it day in and day out. But you should have ALL the tests to eliminate the sinister possibilities. I would not like it if you were concerned enough to let your mind wander down the sudden cardiac death road. Please seek a second opinion and get it checked again for your peace of mind.
Let me explain what you're feeling, they're called PVCs and they are normal in a healthy person. These are not really skipped beats, they are early beats. What happens is you get a random electrical signal that fires your left ventricle. Because it was early, there is a pause while the heart catches up. Because there is a pause, your heart has more time to fill so it has a little more blood in it than usual and when it beats it feels stringer. All totally stronger as is a sinus rhythm.
You need help for you heart anxiety. If you don't get it under control now you will be miserable within a few years.
Sinus arrhythmia is normal, normal, normal.
It is more pronounced in kids and athletes, and generally becomes less noticeable with age.

You are a healthy kid, but I really think you would be much happier if you asked your doc for a referral to a good shrink for treatment of your cardiac anxieties. Things will change so quickly for the better that you will be amazed.
