echo report

I recently had an Echocardiogram & the conclusion is:  normal size left ventricle with mild hypertrophy.  Normal LV systolic function with estimated ejection fraction of 55-65%.  No wall motion abnormality. Mild diastolic dysfunction. Normal size RV with normal systolic. Tricuspid aortic valve with trace aortic regurg. Mitral valve normal leaflet motion.  Trace mitral regurg is seen. Trace tricuspid regurgitaiton. Also  Cholesterol is 241 but my HDL is 88 & LDL 138; non-HDL 153 and trig 78; also fighting moderate hypertension.  Should I be especially concerned about the Echo results.  Dr. states that its satisfactory but recommends cardio evaluation.

About three years ago after my bypass surgery my blood pressure was pretty much the same as yours. I was on ace inhibitors (Ramipril) of which was a daily dose each morning. My Doctor split the dose, and I took half in the morning and half early evening. This seemed to do the trick.

Yes, I'm working on it more now, but my results have been jumping around a lot.  Recently my AM bp has been 116/75 and this AM 124/77 but later in the day and early eve I've had readings of 159/93 and 145/88 so I am unsure what that means.

Personally I seen no real concerns with your echo results apart from what could be caused by hypertension. Have you just recently been trying to get your blood pressure down?
