When was your last cardiac workup?  I would definitely be seen and have some tests run.
These can be signs of a certain level of heart failure.  See your doctor soon.

>>>>>>The peripheral swelling is something that can be very serious and it can relate to your heart. It can be an indication your heart is not adequately pumping blood to the lungs and has a result fluids back up in veins and fluid leak into the tissues. And hands going to sleep can also be due to poor blood circulation.

You should have your doctor schedule an echocardiogram to rule out any heart problems.
We thank you for your question, and if you have any further questions or comments you are invited to respond.  Take care,

If once you had bypass surgery I assume you are on some sort of medication. It is a good question if you have continued heart disease?..or as you put it if these symptoms you have are the signs of it?
Yes.  we cannot just get rid of heart disease, only we are well compensated, never cured.
You need to see your doctor.
Good luck!
