There are  serious risks including  bleeding, depressed breathing, irregular heart beat or heart attack are extremely rare. In case of complication, patient needs to be hospitalized and surgery is rarely required. Your sister's current medical condition can be associated with the ERCP procedure.

I believe the 35% is the amount of blood pumped with each heartbeat.  Normal is 50 to 70% and an indication the heart is pumping adequately to meet the system's demand for blood/oxygen. Usually when the EF is lower than normal and related to the heart's ability to pump adequately and there can be lung edema (water in lung tissues, edema) and this can cause a breathing impairment, etc.

Your sister may be staying in the hospital to normalize oxygen level within the system.  If there was a negative ECHO that is a good indication of no serious problem and wait and watch may be the best option.

Thanks for the question, and if you have no further questions or comments you are welcome to respond,  Take care,
