I did part one of my stress test this morning and after the exercise was taken over and had the isotope scan.
Then I was taken into the echo-cardiogram room, but then the person asked if I had a echo recently because I
was not on her schedule. I said yes on Dec 6 this year (3 weeks ago)
She said that is why that the doctor would just use that report.
I was hoping to have one so that they could compare the one on Dec 6 so that they would have more data to compare. I mean it is different techs doing it and one was in the hospital this one at the dr. office.
I don't believe the isotope test shows anything having to do with the aorta so that wouldn't help me.
Frustrated to say the least. I'll be seeing the cardiologist next Tuesday for the results.
This same cardio dr. had me believing that left atrial size has something to do with the aorta because on the echo I had in the hospital on the 4th I had a CT say that on ONE picture in the series my aorta is 4 cm but when we got the echo report he was like you went down to a 3.8 but when I saw the report the only thing on there that said 3.8 was Left Atrial Size. There were no measurements for the ascending aorta, unless there is some code word, I don't see it.
That is why I was looking forward to this ECG.
UGH!
