should i worry about my 3 mild leaky heart valves?

I am 30yrs old female and have had some chest pain and pressure for the last year. I just found out a few months ago that i have 3 mild leaky heart valves (pulmonary- mitral- and tricuspid). My cardio dr. said not to worry about them. He assured me that i would outlive those leaky heart valves. I am taking propranolol 3x a day =30mg a day for a rapid heart rate. I continue to have chest pain everynow and again but sometimes its worse and the pressure seems bad too at times. Is this chest pressure and pain caused from the heart valve problems? Am i just worrying too much?
Is it normal to have chest pain when i get overly excited or upset? It feels like i took too deep of a breath or like i'v had the hiccupps too long. You know how you get the chest pain from the spasms of the hiccupps?
I don't smoke, don't drink, and don't take in any caffiene. I have even taken the salt shaker out of my diet for the last 5months now. Im sooo scared!!
How could i have gotten these leaky heart valves? The echoe showed strong heart and normal everything except the valves. The dr. said i was probably born w/it. Could this be why i had sooo many dizzy spells growing up?

Sorry for soooo many questions but i need some comfort-PLEASE!!!
THANK YOU

thank-you for everyones reply!!!:)
i called my cardio dr. and he don't feel i should have any more testing (stress test which i requested) until my next follow up in November.
i am still having problems w/feeling as if my chest neck and head is getting too much blood passing through it. Kinda like i am standing on my head. I get lighted when standing or walking and it looks like everything is going in slow motion cause my eyes has this extreme pressure in it. Everything starts looking dark and then fades away and looks normal again. How long does it take of eating lots of salt to get caronary artery disease? I hardly every-every eat anything salty!! Don't it take years of consuming lots of salt to get this? My aunt and mom eats enormous amounts of salt. 1-2 full packs of salt on a burger. But i don't.
My chest feels as if i took too deep of a breathe and held it, or had the hiccupps too long. That achey painfull pressure in center of chest.
I just wish it would go away. Im NOT overweight and don't smoke or drink caffeine or alcohol. I take pretty good care of myself.

What does pulmonary hypertention feel like?
What does coronary artery spasm feel like and is it serious?
How long do symptoms of a coming heart attack last?

I TRUELY APPRECIATE EVERYONES INPUT AND HELP!!!
IT MEANS SOOOO MUCH!!
Im young with two young boys and a husband and don't want to die!!
I have already talked to 2 dr.s and they both said its normal to have chest pain w/leaky valves.

WELL GOTTA GO AND THANK=YOU ALL SOO MUCH!!

Well, its either something or its nothing really at all.
You can never be sure, so like the other two people who have posted before said, its better to have more tests and a second opinion than to leave it. Although, as a cardio doctor, he probably knows his stuff when it comes to hearts!!
If you go to an anxiety forum (like uncommonknowledge.com) rather than a heart forum, you will find many people living with much worse symptoms than yours, - although there is nothing physically wrong with them.
If I was in your shoes, I would try to spend a few days putting a lot of effort into ignoring these symptoms, (however hard it may be!) and THEN, if positive thinking doesnt work, go for another check up. Hope you feel better soon regardless of what it is :-)

Almost always mild or trace of valve leakage is considered insignificant and there will be no progression (many people have some leakage of valves).  It does not cause any chest pain ounless it is moderate to severe and cardiac output is compromised to extent there is ischemia (lack of blood flow to the heart).

However, ruling out the valve disorders doesn't rule out other issues that are causing your chest pain that could be heart related.  It is possible you are having involuntary coronary spasms.  It is not normal to have chest pain from emotions.  Yes, if one has occluded vessels, emotional stress can cause angina (chest pain), and emotional stress can cause a heart problem in the long term.

You should find out the underlying cause for the chest pain as it could be serious or not serious.

I'm of course not a doctor, but, my mother began experiencing the same symptoms 20 years ago, and was basically told it wasn't serious as well. Now, she is facing her second valve replacement surgery in four years.  We knew the valve was failing this time around when she began feeling pressure in her chest, shortness of breath, and tightness in her chest when she was lying down or walking up the stairs.  If I were you, I would get a second opinion.  My mother is 57, and her cardiologist and surgeon told her she's too young to be experiencing these symptoms.  At 30 years of age, you definitely are, and I would certainly question any doctor's judgment who tells you it's normal to live with chest pain and pressure at your age.  Even if your condition isn't serious enough for surgery, you need a better treatment if these symptoms interfere with or compromise your lifestyle in any way.  I think it's always better to be safe than sorry. I hope this helps!!
