supraventicular ectopics

Hi, I feel a frequent sharp pain in my chest, with heart beat rising over hundred. I got my tests like Echo done. The tests have dignosed supraventicular ectopics(extra systoles). Can someone suggest me the treatment of this problem? I am 17 years old.

Only your doctor can and should suggest the treatment.
Beta blocker isn’t the medication that a 17 years old should play around with as you get suggested by the poster above. If your doctor takes you on beta blocker still question it. One of its side effects   impotence among other side effects.
Fallow your doctor instruction but also do your own searching and be open with your doctor about it, it is working for me. Don’t forget, he is your partner. I suggest do lots of googol search, read from doctors, read smart articles, news letters but don’t automatically listen to people on bulletin boards, or do a search on posters who you should listen to who you shouldn’t.

Hi there!  I have been experiencing Superventricular extra systoles and Supraventricular Tachycardia for the past year.  Also get chest pain.  Cardiologist referred me to Electro-Cardio and he did Mapping, EP studies and eventually Ablation.  They found 3 conductors ("normal" heart only have 1 or 2) and managed to ablate 1 of them.  I still get extra systoles and Tachy and medicine does not work.

If your case is not as complicated as mine, you should get good results from using a Beta blocker.  They will bring your HR down to about 60 and put it back into sinus rhythm.
