It refers to the valves in your heart - with age they get a bit stiff and it shows up on such tests. If you doc says its ok then they are no doubt still functioning fine.
It appears you've been checked out and the docs are not worried.
You have low BP - though many people are fine with such pressures - it woudl appear you are getting symptoms so you need to get a proper workup.
I wonder what your BP was before? Is this a recent development?
Ask your doctors about other possible causes beyond the heart - they will probably run some further tests to establish whether there is an underlyng cause for this.
Good luck..

my 2d echocardiogram says, 1. abnormality 2. mitral and aortic sclerosis. what does that mean?? my doctor says its only alright for my age. am 60 yr old male
More information would help. What drugs are you taking? Do you have existing heart issues?
80/60 starts to get the attention of health professionals. If you are taking blood pressure medications, it could indicate you need to talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage. At any case, you should contact your doctor.
