ACE inhibitor (lisinopril)...10mg 2x, beta blocker (coreg) 12.5 2x, diuretic for about a year.  Hospitalized for congested heart failure and subsequent to tests received a stent in the RCA,  LAD is totally blocked but collateral vessels provide a natural bypass, and circumflex was 72% blocked...not stented.

WHAT DRUGS DID YOU TAKE TO ACHIEVE YOUR NEW EF OF 59%??

Frequently, a low EF is attributed to an enlarged left ventricle (it was for me).  The left ventricle normally dilates to increase (compensates) contractions (higher EF) and provide a balance between the left and right side of the heart.  When heart pathology develops, the heart will enlarge to a degree that overcompensates and contraction strength decreases (lower EF).

If the lower EF is due to dilation of the LV, medication to the heart's workload by dilating vessels, reduce blood volume, etc. and the enlargement can/will return to normal size and increase EF.  My EF was 13-29% about 5 years ago...currently it is normal at 59%.  Have you had an echocardiogram?
