First off i am hoping and praying that you did not suddenly stop taking the antenolol ....we have to all be weaned off of beta blockers or it causes an effect called rebound meaning that the symtoms come back times 3. We cannot stop suddenly trust me so i hope your doc is aware that you did this...i know its hard to be patient with not knowing what is going on with you but believe me when i say this ....bad news comes very very fast from heart docs if they even suspect anything is off so if this is is your heart doc i would relax a little or try to ....if this is a family doc that is running you thru all of this you need to get a referral to a heart doc because they are the specialists. Like Jerry says antenolol usually does not cause sleeplessness unless you count dreaming vivid dreams in color as an issue. Antenolol is a beta blocker that relaxes the heart and blocks adrenaline rushes. I also take a very low dose of it and have zero issues with sleeping. I think that stress may be getting the best of you here sady and i know how frustrating it is not to know the answers but take it as a good sign. If it were me and my holter monitor testing was over for more than 3 days trust me i would be calling that doc asking them what they found...
Please, not finding problems is good news, not bad news. Yes, I understand you need and deserve answers, but unfortunately medicine is still an "art" when the usual tests don't show the problem. The long term monitor will show any heart rhythm anomalies and that should help.
Your list of symptoms and medications and the relationship between/among them lost me. But, a beta blocker shouldn't cause any sleeping problems other than unwanted dreaming (only in some people, not all).
Sorry I don't have any specific help, that will have to come from your doctor(s). Good luck.
