AV Node ablation performed July 2010 following episode of SVT.  Mitral Valve (Porcine) 2002.
Since AV node ablation heart rate does not increase with activity. Why is this, and what is the long term prognosis.

AV Node ablation seems like a drastic decision for SVT. To do so destroys the AV node and requires the use of a pacemaker.  If you're not using a pacemaker, then you were ablated in some other area of your heart.  Hopefully, this is the case.  Please elaborate, so the proper response can be given.
