What is normal BPM?

I looked at one of my ECG's today and based on the grid calculated my BPM at various sections. It showed mostly 42-43 BPM, but there are lot of spikes where it comes out to 82-85 BPM (resting). If you add all the PAC's - or PVC's - they total as many as 30,000 per day. On the ECG itself it says 62 BPM which is, obviously, an average, but to me that is not good enough. What is the problem here?

Okay, from the information you have provided...
The average BPM (beats per minute) is 60-80. Now you have to take into account age, medical history, exercise, comorbidities, 'unhealthy habbits', and family history.
So lets say you're a healthy man in your mid 40's and your HR is 42-43 that is considered Bradycardia and is normal for some people especially when they are at rest. The elevation of your HR can be a number of things as well especially if you add in the PVC/PAC's that your talking about. PAC/PVC'c can be cause by a number of things, from serious cardiac issuses to something as simple a your electrolytes being low and your magnesium and potassium levels being off. Those are usually the most common. If youre having 30,000 PVC/PAC's a day that's where I'd be worried and I'd follow up with a cardiologist in your area just to touch base and make sure everything is okay. As far as your heart rate being at 62... If my patient's heart rate is at 62/82-85 I would be perfectly be okay with that!
Best of luck to you, and I hope this helped!
