Aspirin vs. warfarin

Been on warfarin and lopressor for a few years now, but wondering if I'm better off with Aspirin ( 80 ) mg. or so. Side effects have been limited, but somelack of erectness.

Thanks in Advance !  Mrlazerworks

You may want to look up additional information on your CHAD score - which is what they use to help determine if you can get by on aspirin, or need to go the extra step.

Your best bet is to have a sit down w. the doc that prescribed the meds and the reason behind his/her ordering them in the first place.  Unfortunately many times we think that we don't need the meds anymore because we aren't having issues with what ails us and make the common mistake of forgetting that the reason we aren't having the issues is because the meds are doing their job now.  There are all sorts of new blood thinners out there now that were approved by the FDA recently that are alot easier on us than heavy duty thinners but for absolutely sure i would not change a single thing until you get the okay from your doc..it could mean the difference between life and death for you for alot of reasons.....talk bluntly to the doc..tell him/her your concerns and find a plan that you both are comfortable with....good luck with this but dont change a thing until you get the okay...:)
