PVCs causing lightheadness

Hello!  I am new here and would sincerely appreciate any advice you can give me.  I have had PVCs for about 12 years now, and have basically learned to just ignore them (for the most part!).  Recently, however, whenever I use my arms for any kind of resistance exercise, I get what feel to be repeated PVCs and start to feel so light headed that I am afraid I am going to pass out.  Sometimes this happens even when I am doing nothing but driving down the road and I suddenly will feel some strong PVCs and get really light headed.  I've been to see my cardiologist, and he just kind of blows it off as a normal PVC episode.  He does not seem concerned at all about the light headedness and just wants to put me on a beta blocker, which I do not want to do.  The PVCs themselves do not bother me for the mostpart, it's just when I get these repeated ones that make me feel like I'm going to pass out that I get concerned.  I'm 34 years old, at a fairly healthy weight, and lead an active lifestyle.  Any ideas on what could be going on and what I should do?  Thank you so much for any advice!

It could very well be due to anxiety, I know when I am extra anxious, I always get "light headed".

If it gets too bad, I would definitely see a doctor, better to be safe than sorry.

Hi Jenni,
Can you define 'repeated'? When I use my arms in exercize, I get a long pause, then a thud, then about 10 very fast beats, then a pause, a thud, 10 very fast etc. Is that what you get?
I'm not sure I'm much help but I would definitely see a different electrophysiologist (definitely need to move ahead of a cardiologist as they often don't exactly know what is going on with heart rhythm.). I'm sure you'll be fine but you don't want to be without answers.
When I get my episodes, I get this warm feeling in my blood as if acid was being poored in. I think it's probably because of adrenaline but perhaps there is some sort of endocrine reaction/causation that the docs don't yet realize. Could it be that you are feeling scared? Or is it real pre-passing out? I know I get lightheaded when it happens but I've learned to separate the anxious response from the real physiological cause. For me, at least I hope, the lightheadedness comes from getting panicky. If you feel as if you are going to pass out, you definitely need to get reassessed. Again, I don't think it's anything fatal in the near term but you may be a candidate for an implantable device at some point.
