Dizzness

I have had 3 cathader procedures done with the last one 18mo ago with them doing a maze inside my heart. But I still have dizzyness and at times while I read or just sit I suddenly find myself waking up seconds later. I have difficulty breathing daily and they can't make up their minds if I have COPD, Asthma or Asbestos poisoning from 40 years ago BP is 125/80 sometimes lower, what is going on?

I agree that you need a Holter monitor to catch the hearts activity when you have one of these spells. It could be something that has nothing to do with your heart.

Hello.

Do you experience palpitations while being dizzy or before you fall asleep? Does this happen only when sitting calmly?

I can't give you an answer, it may be cardiac related (for example, pauses in the heart rhythm) and it may not, it can be something related to for example sleep apnea. I would recommend wearing a Holter monitor while you have the symptoms. If you have them daily, it should be easy to capture on EKG, so your doctors can rule in or rule out a cardiac cause. If you have pauses in the heart rhythm, treatment is usually a pacemaker.
