HELLO I NEED A QUESTION ANSWERED

im a bit of a health freak and ive been reading a lot about cardiomyopathy and heart failure symptoms and these symptoms sound a lot like some things I was going through . I was having pretty bad palpitations every day for quite some time it feltlike my heart would just flutter every so often through out the day . but this hasn't happened in the last 2 and a half or three weeks . its almost like the flutters have completely gone away . however my heart does still race every now and again with little activity and beats really hard with little activity . somedays I feel fine and others I feel like a total wreck my resting heart rate is about 60 beats per minute when sitting on my bed the other day when I was lying down flat on my bed my heart rate was in the 50's per minute , my heart rate has never been over 100 beats per minutes I think about the highest it has gotten has been about 80 beats per minute maybe . I am fatigued quite often and every once in a while I will get dizzy but the dizziness also comes and goes I can go sometimes weeks without having a dizzy spell .and another thing that scarred me really bad was I remember about 6 month ago there were a couple of nights in a row where I was having trouble breathing when lying down but when I sat up I was fine but that was like 6 months ago and that hasn't happened sense I sleep fine . im not a very active person and I was experiencing some minor chest pains a while back but none within the last couple of weeks and also my appetite comes and goes as well but the last couple days ive been getting pretty hungry . I don't have any large veins in my neck , no swelling of any kind , but I do  get panic attacks / anxiety attacks im 23 years old  also my nose has been stuffed up for like 5 years straight Im not sure if my nose would have anything to do with it but just thought I should add , do you think this could be a cardiomyopathy or heart failure and be truth full ive got a apt with my doctor in 5 days just looking to ease my mind till then

I think one of the CC docs answered your question on this. Your heart rate sounds fine but it does sound like you are suffering from anxiety and often anxiety will find a physical issue to focus on. Then when we realise our heart is fine the anxiety moves on to another issue. Mention your anxiety to your doctor.

My blood pressure is good . And my heart rate doesnt really beat relly fast its more like it just gets very hard there have been cases when just lying down for about 2 minutes then standing could cause my heart to pound really hard

Your HR is what could be considered a healthy low, but never over 100?  You said racing, so you consider a HR less than 100 to be racing?  Many would disagree with that label.

How is your blood pressure?  A low HR and low BP at the same time could cause some dizziness.

I do not see any relationship between stuffy nose and you description of your heart.  I too suffer from chronic nasal congestion - does a nasal spray such as Afrin open you breathing?

In my case the congestion is mostly limited to time when I am very inactive, especially when sleeping, causing "dry mouth" discomfort when I awake.

If you haven't had a full physical exam in a "while" it could be worth the cost to get one and discuss your issues with a doctor.
