It kind of feels like only one part of my heart is beating for a while then thumps and my heart goes back to normal. Ive had this for while nothing bad has come of it, i just want to know what is happen and if it does mean something bad.
I've posted a similar query - I have PVCs sometimes where I get the pause and thump... but also get the occasional flutter erratic beat for a second or two... If you're having them regularly you could try to get a holter monitor to capture them? I'm hoping they're benign - from what I can tell it seems that palps are more of an issue if you're getting pain or become breathless with them... but still I'm interested in clarification on the flutter too
I would not let a doctor looking at you like you are crazy deter you. Instead push to see a cardiologist and ask for a 30 day monitor to catch this if it happens within at least a months time. Most arrhythmia issues are transient and the heart acts and looks normal on a general basis so we need a longer time span to catch the issue. Considering you do not experience issues like severe chest pain or passing out and the issue seems to convert on its own it isn't likely anything life threatening but it is best to try and get a handle on what it is so just go back and ask for a 30 day monitor to try and catch it. if anything for your own peace of mind. Best of luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.
I will definitely ask for the 30 day monitor and get back to you guys thank you.
