PVC's after exercise

I just came across a study that showed that if you have pvc's during exercise you have no increased risk of death, but that if you have them during the recovery period you have 2 times the chance of dying in 5 years compared to those who don't get them in the recovery period. And here I have been encouraged that I never notice them when I exercise and I guess that doesn't matter. I am not sure if I get a lot in the recovery period but I get by far the most when I'm at rest and my heart rate is at it's resting rate. I've also noticed how many people seem to start with pvc's and then end up having afib or VT. All of this makes me wonder if pvc's are really as harmless as doctors keep reassuring us they are. I want more than anything to beleive they are a benign condition in most cases but I'm really starting to wonder.

I found it just looking on google but it seems to be a pretty reliable study from what I could tell. Here is the link in case you'd like to take a look. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/569721

The best advice I can offer you is to trust what you are being told by your Dr's. I would consider what they are telling you to much more reliable than some random article you read on the internet. Some, in fact many of the things you will read are not from sources I would call reliable.

I always caution people from "surfing" the internet by means of gathering information. Alot of what you find are reports on very rare incidences and again can the source of the report be reliable. This can be very misleading to you, leaving you to believe that you are in danger when your Dr has told you otherwise.

Out of curiosity, where did you find this study published?
