First off its fairly common to have a hypersensitive heart...i have one two and actually know a couple of other people that do as well. I think my heart doc explained it to me that it simply meant that my heart gets irritable easier than most peoples and it doesn't take much to set off much of anything altho i really don't have any issues anymore except on rare occasions. I wonder sometimes if he didn't really mean that i am a fraidy cat and everything makes me freak out LOL.....that too is common when it comes to the heart. In a nutshell what ectopic beats mean is when the heart decides to beat to the sound of a different drummer from time to time so to speak. This is when people feel their hearts sometime sort of flip flop or an occasional thump. It basically comes from the electrical of your heart sort of going out of whack and in most cases alot of docs don't feel its serious because it can be brought on by everything from stress, to food choices, etc. Sometimes you get extra beats, sometimes you;ll get a dropped beat...geezzzz i think half of the human race has had ectopics at one time or another i swear. Basically it means that the electrical conduction of the heart or topside of the heart goes out of rhythm....unless your doc feels this is serious and has a treatment plan for you i wouldn't seriously worry....many many times its benign or not serious but only your doc knows for sure. I know when i used to yell at my kids my heart would flip flop (ectopic), and when a guy broke my heart a flip flop or when it really flip flopped was when i was driving my car down the freeway and looked up and saw that red light in my rear view mirror for speeding (to me that was the worst)...so you can see my point....i would ask the doc if there's something he/she needs to do and if so what and if they said not to worry about it you can probably take it to the bank....beware of the internet on this stuff tho my friend...its at times like this that the internet is not your friend and will scare the bejesus outta you...good luck and we are here for you if you have any questions....but no worries unless the doc says so.....
It's too much to write here. Look them up online (Google). There is plenty of info out there.
what are PVC's and PAC's?
Look up PVCs and PACs. See if these describe what you are feeling. Have you been tested by a cardiologist? Usually they are benign, but get checked so you can be sure.
