And just to be clear. These extra beats you are feeling are a completely different condition than your svt was. Again, the beats actually being a prime precursor to falling into tachycardia. Anyways, do some research about pacs and pvcs and you will understand more about them. Take care.
I don't know that it always happens but some people find an increase in ectopic beats after and ablation. You likely had them before the ablation as they are one of the biggest triggers for one to fall into tachycardia but you likely did not feel them at the time. I know I had ectopics before I had my avnrt ablated last September but I don't recall having as many as I sometimes feel now though I can't say for certain I am having more or less because everything I felt before my ablation I just attributed to the condition. That said, I have been told by my cardiologist and have done a bit of research and so long as your heart is structurally healthy the extra beats are not a threat to your health. They can be a bit distracting but they should not cause you any harm. It is also likely with a little more space between you and the ablation that you will stop feeling the ectopics. Some do some don't but there really isn't anything to worry over though I would discuss what you are feeling with your EP doctor just to be sure. But other than that watch what you eat, as foods high in gas and carbohydrates seem to aggravate them as well as stress. But look around for posts about pacs and pvcs and you will find many people have them and a number didn't notice them until after their ablation though like I said, it is probably they had them before. Anyways, talk to your doctor to be sure but I would think you are clear to continue to be active and being active is your best bet at getting your heart healthy again just try to not push it too hard for the first 6 months after the ablation. Take care and let us know if you have any other questions and keep us posted on how you are doing.
