I Need Peace Of Mind - Palpitations

I’m 31 years of age. I was seen by my doctor for palpitations (weird heart beats). They have performed the following test on me; Procedures:  Ekg, Chest & Lung X-Ray, & a 24 Hour Event Monitor. Blood Diagnostics:  Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Thyroid, Complete Blood Count, & Troponin. Doctor said event monitor showed PVC’s, normal. My shoulders are tender at touch. Left side of chest is swollen and red (doctor said possible Hemangioma). I notice these palpitations occur also after eating, lifting or sometimes after taking a deep breath. Are these even palpitations?Am I losing my mind? Lol… Is it muscular, skeletal or some type of brain or nerve disorder? Would all this have showed in these tests? Am I just stressing too much? (Sigh)

Palps after lifting, eating, deep breath, etc can be symptoms of hiatus hernia.  I just got diagnosed.  The hernia caused ulcers on the esophogus (very common with this condition), which can react with the vagus nerve.
The issue is that the herniated part of the stomach can push up into the chest cavity.  If contact with certain nerves occur, the heart or esophogus can spasm or flutter.

Getting a 3 minute scope will give you a diagnosis.

These hernias are very common.

Good luck.

Yeah, you may be losing your mind, but a lot of us here have that problem.  Actually, you've had a good medical workup and like so many of us still have heart worries.  Now you have to do your homework.

For a great explanation of palpitations, type this into your google search box and hit return:

About the second entry you will see on the page that comes up is titled, "Do PVCs lead to v-tach?"  Click on that to read some excellent information about PVCs, their possible causes, treatment, and so on.
