I have PAC & PVCs and have been put on ACE inhibitor
My blood pressure is high 160/94 and doc prescribed an ACE inhib for me. How will this effect my PVC/PAC's? Help or hurt? Right now I take lanoxin .25 for PVCs. HBP runs in the family so I was doomed anyway.
Hello. I used to have lots of PVC's, and was prescribed a Beta Blocker, but eventually the RX lost its effectiveness. and I more or less learned to live with them. I had 2 ablations for PVCs. Sometime after the ablations, I was put on an ACE for optimal BP. Since the ablaitons were successful for the PVCs, I don't know if the ACE would have made a difference. I still get PVCs, but not too often.
