Tachycardia

Hi, I randomly checked by BP last night which was 117/77 but the pulse rate was really high, that was 116bpm after few hours I checked it again it was 95bpm than. And since then it is in the range of 90-100
I need some expert opinion about it but I'm just afraid to go the hospital, I don't have any past history of similar complaint or any other related to CVS
Your help is highly appreciated, thanks in anticipation

A rate of 116 isn't super high.  Your bp was fine but it could be an indication that you were slightly dehydrated or something from outside the heart was causing the elevated rate, anything from eating too big a meal, sugar, caffeine or anxiety.  I would say if you are concerned make an appointment with a regular doctor and get a check up.  Unless you have severe chest pain and find it hard to breath or feel like passing out the rate is not a threat and contacting a doctor as opposed to an ER may work just fine to get to the bottom of things but if it happens again try drinking lots of water and see how you are a half hour later.  And whatever you do try to relax.  The more anxious we get about our heart the more it will act up.  Take care.
