Jules,
You are so funny! The real secret is: I have not taken a cruise because I get motion sick....lol. I'm still trying to decide if I want to chance the wrist bands or the patches! Oh, I def. have issues! I also have digestive "issues" so that's always a concern....especially on a boat!! hahahha......
We'll have to find one with a defibrillator for you and patches and meds for me! Then, we can sail....Here's one really cool thing about post-ablation life - I am not nearly as worried when I fly! So far, just short trips, but we're trying to plan a longer trip for sometime in the near future. hoping to take a longer trip very soon. That's when I'll be stressin' LOL
A cruise???????????????Please tell me your secret to be able to get on a ship! All I thought about when I read that was, does it come equipped with a defibrillator and is there a doctor on board????See I have issues lol!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm......Perhaps a cruise in January would be a good idea.....Just what the doctor ordered!
Just thinking about those cold winter days....brrrr
I haven't noticed a change in PVCs, but I do notice what seems to be a drop in BP. I went to an exercise class a couple weeks ago (didn't eat beforehand...DUMB) and I was lightheaded, nauseous, and had loooooow BP for the rest of the day. I'll try eating a little something before the next class (assuming I go back....lol)
Good thing you still have your dancin' shoes!
We'll take any good days we can get! Brag away.......hahahaha
You're allowed to be overprotective... That's your job. LOL
I'm with you, Momto3. I haven't noticed an increase with heat, so much. Now, the WINTER KILLS me! The cold and blowing wind will bring everything on!
Surprisingly enough,I cant ever say the heat had an affect on my pvcs!!!(knowingly anyway)What I mean is I have never had a flare up really bad when I was out in the summer heat!Maybe because the warmth has a calming affect on me...it relaxes me :) Im not trying to brag lolllllllllllllll but coming from someone who gets pvcs because its "tues"...lol I had to post it!
although she hasn't said she can feel her heart, Amber has had difficulty with the rising temps. one particular day was very noticeable as we had company over for the day for a bbq and to watch fireworks in the evening. she had walked up the street to the carnival and was there for about an hour and came home and sat on a chair in the yard (in the sun) after about 30 min she called for me to say she felt dizzy although she was sitting.
took her bp and it was fine, but she was pale and sweaty. brought her back inside to sit in the ac and after about 20 min she had some color back and we had her walk around inside and she felt better.... i think the combination of the rising temps with all of her heart meds may be to blame...... we just take it easy... didn't let her go to a tiger baseball game with her day program because that would be too long for her to stay out in this heat (may be me being just a little overprotective!!)
Definitely we need to "chill." I stay cool as possible. Not everyone has AC so if I'm in an overheated situation like my job, I pace myself. No sudden bursts of activity, just slow and steady. Well, not so slow but no running around. And of course, stay hydrated.
