Try to calm PVCS.The Atenolol worked for a number of years but now is not helping I have been taking 200 mg daily.
Hi: I used to be on flecinade for 3-4 years and it worked great - basically it was akin to nitro - when I went into Afib it would quickly help restore sinus rythm. I'm now on sotolol and altace (blood pressure) which seems to help keep my heart rate down but it feels like a war as my heart wants to race. I'm not sure of any side effects as I have several issues but it does work to keep my heart rate below 100's and most often in the 60's - 70's.
Hello...
Side effects that most bothered me was the increased fatigue with Flecainide. When I was on Sotolol, I had trouble with insomnia (certainly not good when I'm already exhausted) and then my asthma flared up. So for me, the Flecainide is the lesser of the 2 evils.
What will you be taking either of these for?
What are the side affects? How do they make you feel?
Hello...
I've been on both, what is it that you'd like to know about them?
