Another PVC query.

Sometimes I feel like someone has their hands around my neck....kind of pressure feeling....is this the result of the beta blocker?  I'm scheduled for the MRI at the end of the month.  Please make the days go by faster - the anxiety is killing me.

sorry I didn't give enough info. I'm new to this board so didn't know my old and new didn't appear together...  I have extra PVC's (6000 in 24 hrs.).  Going for the MRI May 26th and then a angio CAT June 10 so that the EP can study and decide what to do (ablation, pacemaker etc.???)  I'm on beta blockers (Atenolol) for now until decision made.  Just wondered if beta blocker can cause this stangulation feeling - or do you think it's common with PVC's of this magnitude?

Does that go away if you sit down or change position?   To me it sounds like a vaso - vagal type of response.  I've gotten that feeling here and there too, and if I sit down or changve position it goes away.  It hasn't killed me yet!!  :-)

Hi!  You didn't give us enough information.  Tell us more.  How much beta blocker and which one?  Have you been to the cardiologist, what was the result?  Why the MRI?  What is your age and when did this start?  We can help if we know more... Yes, waiting for tests and then waiting for results can cause so much anxiety.  We understand.  Please write some more.
