NO-DOZ OVERDOSE

48 hours ago I took 2 No-Doz tablets, which have 100mg of caffeine in them.
I took them with about 5 cups of coffee.

My heart went CRAZY. My heart rate was 96 bpm, I was light headed, nauseus, and had chest pain.

Two days later, my heart rate HAS NOT GONE DOWN.
And I still have the pain in my chest.

Is this very serious?

So total that was about 8 cups of coffee.  dang, were you pulling an all-nighter for school?

Anyways, don't do that !!!

You should get checked out by a doctor, an EKG would be needed to make sure you aren't in some sort of worrisome arrhythmia.

Probably not, but see a doctor ASAP just to rule out any serious condition.

Most likely you've got some anxiety which drives up the heart rate afterwards (caffeine should be out of the body long time ago), but we can't say for sure.

Go to the ER and get this examined.
