Needing PVC advice or anything

Hi all,

I'm 24 yr old male.  Currently use dip tobacco. In my life I've been to 5 cardiologist.  ( 5 to many). Had ekgs, echos, stress test and one holter at 15. Got news of healthy heart.  I have palpitations.  Like heart skips or gets stuck.  I only feel maybe 3 or 4 a day. Sometimes I get them while working out and they scare me.  I haven't worked out in four months cause of fear.  Went to cardiologist last week out of concern.  He said there normal and he gets them occasionally as well. He said since I had stress and echo done two yrs ago and showed no structual damage that they were ectopic.  Said I could take beta blocker if I wanted.  I don't want medicine I want to know if they are dangerous or indicate a life threatening arrhythmia.  I have no fainting or anything. Just get the skipped beat and get anxiety right after then heart feels normal again. I have severe anxiety. Could the anxiety be the root cause and not my heart.  I need help and no one will listen they say it's not a problem. N well it feels like a problem.  Thnk u all. By the way I called cardio dr today to see about another holter monitor.   I know they were annoyed. Like oh him again a healthy 24 yr old whom I've already told that pvcs are ok. Ne insight is helpful

I'm already on anxiety medication. I want to rid myself of anxiety without it. It's very hard though

episodes of benign PVC's while they feel like they are going to kill you will not.  actually in some cases exercise makes them go away.  Anxiety is a precipitator of PVC's and you can try relaxation techniques, meditation or ask doc for anti-anxiety med. need more info just google -  anxiety and PVC's.  telling you to relax is easier said than done.

I can't say that I have. After as long as I've had these, I still get anxious when they flare up. My comfort comes in reading Gods Word, and knowing that I am cared for and protected. It can be difficult to do when the symptoms are raging, but try to hang in there. Mark

Hi,
I'm a 52 year old male, and have had what you are expieriencing, for over 30 years. I have always been very active, and know exactly what you are talking about. I won the state powerlifting championship in 97, and my heart was skipping so bad, I considered walking off the stage! But I continued, and lived through it. I wish I only had 3-4 episodes a day. Right know mine are probably in the 1000's. Don't worry about them. You are young and healthy. And worry does make them worse. Good luck. Mark
