I was very recently diagnosed with costochondritis.

What is really scarry to me is that i begin to feel very faint alot of the time and tired, i have looked at all the symptoms of costochondritis and i cant find anything that says you should feel faint or light headed, everything that relates to that with chest pains, heavyness on the middle of my chest, and pain going to my arms, making them also feel slightly numb, a feeling of a fluttering heart, and numbness in my left leg, all relates to heart problems. The E.R docotor says that my heart is perfectly fine and that my heart rate was normal but i feel like their is moments throughout everyday where my heart starts to receive shooting pains and then feels like its missing beats and then the beats begin to speed up, best way to describe it , is that i feel like my heart is running away from me.

We are not doctors here so we can't really diagnose you.  If you are looking for professional input you can post your question in the doctors forum.   That said, you may have a couple of issues going on.  I hurt my back a number of years ago, basically not a flat out I fell and injured myself injury but rather over time I overworked the muscles on the right side and wound up pulling my spine out of line.  The moment it went out of line though I got super bad stomach pains.  After that went away I started to get numbness in my hands and down my legs.  The numbness made me feel lightheaded and dizzy because it was throwing my equalibrium off.  The point being you may feel things that you equate to the heart which may have nothing to do with the heart.  You could have an injury a little higher than I had that is causing you to feel heart and chest pain and numbness but it doesn't mean your heart is sick.  It is also not likely the ER doctor would miss lead you.  That said, their job is to tend to emergencies and you likely did not present in an emergency state so your best bet is to see a doctor to get a full workup.  Did you have an echo done while in the ER?  If you haven't and you are concerned then find a cardiologist and get the full work up so you can get a base line on how your heart is doing.   It is likely fine but it is better to be safe than sorry.

With that said, it does sound as though you may be having what is called ectopic beats.  These are errant beats that arise from irritated areas of the heart.  If from the atria they are called pacs if from the ventricles they are called pvcs.  They are of no consquence to the overall health of your heart and there really isn't much they do for them except maybe put you on beta blockers if they are impeding your ability to function.  But again, since this is a new symptom you again should probably make an appointment to see a cardiologist and get checked out and get diagnosed for the ectopics from a professional.  Take care and I hope you feel better soon.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.
