Other shoe dropped

Ok, So I've been feeling like I was going to have an episode of PSVT for a couple of weeks now and I finally did. I jumped up to my usual about 220 BPM. I was able to self convert after about 20 minutes or so. The thing that has been different lately, is for the last few episodes when I go back into NSR, I don't go back to my usual 70 or so BPM, but stay up around 120 to 140 BPM for about a half an hour to an hour. As I said, this has happened for the last three or four episodes but never before. Is this something I should check with my doctor about or is it pretty much run-of-the-mill? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Ah, frustrating.  I know I paid my full out of pocket for the year to have mine done which wound up being 4 grand.  It is a real shame that money should come between us and our health.  Not sure how Obama care is affecting your situation but hope you can get the cash together sooner rather than later.  Hang in there and just keep at the vagal maneuvers to get it to stop on your own and you should be fine.

Yes Michelle, my EP and I are shooting for ablation sometime in January. I've been saving up. Lol

I know mine would stay elevated so I would say likely typical.  Your heart can handle it.  I would like to ask if you were offered an ablation to try and cure your svt for good?  I know it is a scary prospect but I had one for my avnrt and haven't had an episode in 3 years when I was having them every other week prior.   Your svt will never go away.  You can learn ways to try and get it to stop when it starts but you will never be able to keep it from never happening so you will always be waiting for that other shoe to drop.  Anyways it is a big decision so best of luck getting a handle on it all no matter if you go for an ablation or not.  Take care.
