PVC or PAC question?

You know how they (cardios) say "It's anxiety related"....is it still anxiety related if you're just laying in bed, watching t.v and have nothing on your mind whatsoever? That's where I have doubts about what mine says....mine most always happen when I'm not even thinking about anything....they are notorious for happening when I'm relaxing......absolutley NOTHING on my mind....this is what happened to me today.....except what I'm experiencing, I can't really describe it, this is different than my usual, happens kind of fast and I can't explain what I'm even feeling, I just KNOW it's cardiac related and it happens fast and is usually followed by a 2nd "episode"...I just know I'm hating life right now, and I'm suppose to start a new job on Tuesday.....
Sorry to ramble but I'm feeling really worried and scared!

hi! My palpitations usually come well AFTER a stressful event that I had. Sometimes by a day or more. During the stressful event, I am usually fine---( this is so weird). I handle whatever drama is happening at the moment.
But afterwards, when things settle down...whether it be an hour...a few hours..a day..or several days....suddenly, they appear as if out of nowhere....leaving me thinking ... why? What did I do?? Now, I know that when I have something stressful....I dread it..knowing I will be facing the palpitations. Its awful

jsuter69,

Try to relax.  PVC's just happen similar to panic and axiety.  I get PVC's and anxiet/panci waves out of the blue.  Just because you aren't feeling stress or anxiety at the time doesn't mean that the feelings aren't related.  Just try to relax and know you are fine.

From my own experience, PVC's and PAC's just happen, no particular cause or reason. Sometimes stress or certain foods may trigger more. But there are plenty of times the electrical system in the heart just goes "blip" and then straightens out again. Not much different than when the lights in the house flicker. Doesn't mean you're going to lose power.

Just sit back, enjoy your movie and good luck with the new job.

I bet that your just streesed out, you got a new job to go to on Tuesday, that  is enough for anyone to have these pests come up. I know your pain, you think your relaxing and they just don't go away. Keep trying others remidies and you may find some peace.
