Soy Milk - could this be a cause

Kinda new to this PVC - Bigeminy "fun".  Trip to the ER, wore a heart rate monitor for 2 months, visit with a cardologist.  Pretty much was told what you all are saying...nothing to worry about.

But they sure can last for hours and make me feel terrible.

This past month I did pretty good.  Very few.  Feeling better, I went back to my routine where I have a soymilk protein shake for breakfast.  3 days into it, my bigeminy returned.  At first I could not figure out why they were here, went away, then came back.   I am now wondering if it wasn't the soy milk - or the protein powder.  This thought just came to me yesterday, so I will have to let you know if things get better with me forgoing my soy shake.

I wonder if anyone else found a relationship between these PVCs and soy products?

As a side note:  I found it interesting that some people say they do pushups to halt these PVCs.  I do the same thing.  I noticed that I never have an issue when I exercise....which is 6 days a week from 1.5 to 2 hours a day.

Soy contains phytoestrogens which mimic the effects of estrogen in the body.  My PVCs are definitely affected by hormonal fluctuations and I found that drinking soy milk increased them as well as causing migraine headaches.  I don't drink it anymore.

PS I only mention the "period" thing because some think hormones play a role as well

Hi there :)

Some people do have food allergies and have related tummy issues to making their skips worse.

Many of us get skips out of the blue and they come and go as they please. They are very much so annoying and can be a bit scary but typically they are harmless.

I have noticed that when I do my weight training I will get them when working legs or triceps LOL Cardio though will make mine go away. I also choose to stay off stimulants. Protien drinks do not affect mine but I do not drink soy milk so I cannot give any advise there.

I would keep a journal and see if you can find a link there. Some women also say their period can make them worse.
