I have friends that can drink a few with their heart problems and there are others that can't. I can't handle more than 6 ounce of beer. That's my limit. You'll have to discover which foods, drinks, medications and activities trigger your PAT.

Well, PAT is rarely life threatening, but be aware that alcohol can be a trigger for PAT. I wouldn't drink until I'd seen the cardiologist if I were you.

I understand it's a bit weird to call your cardiologist and ask if you can drink alcohol.
