Daughter having heart problems.

Hi, My daughter is 20 years old. She has been having a problem. She has low blood pressure. She then has these attacks her blood pressure shoots up and her heart rate drops. She feels likes there are bricks on her chest. The first time she went to hospital, she was hooked up to some type of screen. We could see her heart and we both saw it skip. A Cardiologist came in watched screen and said she needed surgery. She said she had a piece dangling from heart causing problem. When it was time to be discharged, Hospital inform us of what Dr. had said. We were just told to see a Cardiologist. Now, She has been at work and has fainted a few times. An ambulance is called and she is taken same Hospital. The ambulance was called today it happened again. This time they were able to catch her pulse was 93 on the EKG then shot up to 144. The hospital released her. A month ago she saw a Cardiologist that said she had POTS. He said it happens in young adults. I feel there is something else going on after seeing heart on screen. Could that dangling piece from heart cause a problem. Thank You

You need to see the doctor again and have him/her explain that "dangling piece of heart" issue until you can understand exactly what it is.  There is no such thing in a normal heart.

p.s., I think you're talking about a chest x-ray?  I don't know what "watched screen" refers to.  If he said she needed surgery, why didn't you follow with them about it?   I think you'll get better answers by calling the first cardiologist than you will from anonymous internet posts.

maybe it was a lead wire if she was still hooked up to EKG?
