There are some really good articles about the different types of POTS. I find those written by Dr. Blair Grubb to be very helpful. He has one that includes a table of treatments that are helpful for the different forms of POTS.

POTS is a chronic illness causing dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. The symptoms of POTS, (as well as other forms of Dysautonomia), tend to vary from person to person depending on the severity of their illness. Some of the more common symptoms include: tachycardia, irregular blood pressure, fatigue, fainting, etc.
There is no cure, but some individuals tend to grow out of it. For others though, it's a lifelong condition, and usually treated on a symptom-by-symptom bases. POTS is usually diagnosed by a Cardiologist or Neurologist based on medical history, process of elimination, and a Tilt Table Test. There are several individuals with POTS and related illnesses in MedHelp's Dysautonomia community.
