Sudden onset of PVC's

Im a 23 year old male that had a sudden onset of irregular hear beats(PVC's) for the past 5 months.  I've been to a specialist and he stated after wearing a holter monitor for 24 hours that i had 22 000 irregular heart beats.  I did a stress test and everything checked out okay.  Its odd to me that i went from zero to 22 000 in a matter of two weeks.  Since all of this has started i discovered that my tonsils were almost touching each other in the back of my throat but were not sore.  Is it possible that i have a auto immune infection that is causing these irregular heart beats(PVC's).  I have had all the blood work done for thyroid etc.

My arrhythmia started 17 years ago after a severe tonsil abscess that landed me in the hospital for 5 days on intravenous antibiotics.  The abscess was due to a strep infection.
I have my suspicion that the bacteria might have screwed up my electrical system.  My cardiologist said that may be a possibility but it's not something that can be confirmed.

Did you see an EP? What did he say?

Yes i had an ultrasound done and as far as i know nothing was out of place.

Wow thats interesting. I wonder if you had them all along but never felt them before. That is a possibility. What did the EP reccomend? DId you have an echo (ultrasound) to make sure there is nothing wrong with the structure of the heart? Usually people with lots of pvcs have a lot more when we get sick or run down.
