They cardiologist probably give u another 24 hour holter, but another echo in a short time i dont think so..it seems most cardiologist told me its very unlikely any major significant will change in such a short time, provided you had a clean echo last time.when was ur last echo done ?
I have been assured many times but u know it scares a little. I always think that y i didnot feel much skips during holter or should i get another echo done.. But i guess i will have to realize the situation once and for all.
Maybe. Depends on if the "skips" are a natural slowing and speeding up on the sinus node, or if PACs are to blame.
Either way it's completely natural and not a sign of any heart disease.
so if i dont get skips while holding my breath and get them while breathing, then can it be termed as sinus arrhythmia
I understand that. No worries.
I'm not really sure you get that many skips while breathing. It may be the natural response your autonomic nervous system makes to breathing. When you exhale, the heart is able to fill up, which again slows the heart rate and may be experienced as a skipped beat.
On the other hand, inhaling increases blood flow towards the atria, which is a known trigger of PACs. Nothing to worry about. I get that all the time.
I have noticed that if i hold my breath i get no skips but while breathing i get many?? What is this!!!??
Plz dont mind my asking so many questions. Having suffered from many problems has made me very sensitive....
I can only comment your heart rhythm and chest sensations.
I believe your doctor told you about sinus arrhythmia with changes in heart rate (and heart contractility). It's correct that it's a sign of a strong healthy heart.
If I remember correctly, you are carefully examined, and the only thing found on your tests is an occational PAC, just like me. I think you should try to accept the fact that your heart is healthy, and stop making up stories where you believe you have coronary artery disease, severe arrhythmias, etc.
You've seen an EP now. You can't find anyone that knows more about heart rhythms than an EP. The question is: If you can't trust your EP, who can you trust? You need to draw a line. This is it. You don't need to examine your heart further. Your heart is fine.
