Urinating and atrial fibrilation

I have had 4 AFIB episodes of about 4-6 hours each during which I pee very frequently...and during which my blood pressure drops....is this typical?

I think I read that it has something to do with a connection between adreneline and the kidneys. I have to go more often when I'm anxious.

This is very common. I was told it was a way the body reacts defensively to get rid of potassium (or maybe it was sodium)

It's interesting that you posted this. I don't have atrial fib that I know of but when I am in a run of pvcs/pacs for a few hours I notice that I urinate a lot as well. I wonder if this affects many of us out there.  Since my palps occur mostly at night it can be a real pain between dealing with the palps and having to get up to go to the bathroom. :-(

Yes it is.  I've seen many A-Fibbers report this.
